Creating a more modern space

About Me

Creating a more modern space

We've just started up a medical practise, and we need to redecorate our space to make it look modern and sleek. The building we are moving into was vacant for a while before we moved in, and it looks a bit dated and old. One of the first things we did was remove all of the old wallpaper and replace it with a nice clean layer of semi-sheen paint, and it's made such a huge difference already. This blog has the whole decorating project, as I thought it might be useful for other business administrators and business owners looking to redecorate.

Try these bathroom paint colour ideas to make the home more inviting

Tired of your old and damaged bathroom? A bathroom renovation is an excellent way of making your home significantly more comfortable. But in addition to a new toilet, shower screen and bathroom floor, you should also consider the paint that will be used.

White and off-white selections are typically a safe choice, as they create a clean, neutral look in your bathroom. However, you can take things a notch higher by experimenting with less common colour choices. Thinking outside the box will help you create a unique mood that livens up your home. When selecting a colour, think about what you ultimately wish to achieve.

The following paint colour ideas will add flavour and breathe new life into your bathroom space.

Pink

Pink is known for its warm and welcoming feel. It's used in many home entryways to create an inviting atmosphere for both residents and guests. The idea that pink is a feminine colour is far outdated, as people have come to realise that pink radiates a warm glow within any space.

Pink is an excellent choice for your bathroom as it adds light and makes you feel at ease anytime you walk in. You can also mix pink walls with white countertops and brown/black cabinet doors.

Blue

Blue radiates many different themes at once. Light blue is lively, while dark blue is more serene. A deep blue radiates a vintage and dated look inside the bathroom space. Depending on your specific preferences, you can use blue paint on your bathroom walls to blend with white floors and countertops.

Vary the shade to create many different textures within a larger bathroom—or simply use a light blue colour for a small bathroom (light blue gives the illusion of a larger space).

Yellow

Yellow is another uplifting colour you can use. It works well with young kids around the home, as they'll be more likely to cooperate during bath time or when brushing their teeth. To avoid monotony, blend shades of yellow with white and light blue sections. You may also choose to add wall hangings (such as paintings) on various parts of the yellow walls.

Black

Are you looking for a bold and unique colour for your newly renovated bathroom? Black is an excellent choice. Black makes a statement in your home, and it contrasts effortlessly with white surfaces and brass fixtures. Black is both vintage and exciting, which is a perfect fit for adult bathrooms.
