Creating a more modern space

About Me

Creating a more modern space

We've just started up a medical practise, and we need to redecorate our space to make it look modern and sleek. The building we are moving into was vacant for a while before we moved in, and it looks a bit dated and old. One of the first things we did was remove all of the old wallpaper and replace it with a nice clean layer of semi-sheen paint, and it's made such a huge difference already. This blog has the whole decorating project, as I thought it might be useful for other business administrators and business owners looking to redecorate.

Vision In White | 3 Versions Of White To Punctuate Elegance Into Your Living Room's Wainscot Panels

Wooden wainscot panels typically sit on the lower part of your living room walls and have been moulded to inject period charm to the space. These panels inspire character and elegance, which makes them an interesting addition to your living room. White is a common colour for wainscot panels, but choosing the right version can be daunting with so many varieties available. Work closely with your painters and choose from these versions of white to punctuate elegance into your living room's wainscot panels.

Go Vintage With Blasts Of Eggshell

Eggshell leans towards the yellower side of white and can dramatise your wainscot panels with plenty of character because of its encrusted appeal. Eggshell blasts on wainscot panels take away from the plainness of white and complement different living room wall colours, ranging from cream and off-white to beige and grey. An eggshell shade ultimately represents vintage appeal, so it works best when you're looking to craft traditional charm in your living room.

Cool Down Or Warm Up The Room With Toned Whites

The level of sunlight in your living room will influence whether you want to cool down or warm up the room using different tones of white when working with your painters. Cool toned whites come with undertones of blue or black, while warm toned whites have brown or yellow hues. If your wainscot panels get direct sunlight, then cool toned whites work best because they counterbalance the brightness of the sun. If your wainscot panels are set in a position with minimal sunlight, then warm toned whites cheer up the space. Cool white wainscot panels go well with blue or green living room walls. Warm white wainscot panels go best with earthen shades like browns and creams in your living room.

Introduce Copious Regal Appeal With Ivory

Ivory is a glorious shade of off-white that easily accompanies all types of colours in your living room, which makes it an excellent choice for your wainscot panels. Ivory is extremely versatile, which makes it harmonious with all neutral colours like greys, yellows and beiges. It also works well with terracotta, brown, burnt orange and other earth-toned living room walls. Ivory has a slight sheen to give it regal appeal, making it a good choice when you're looking to build elegance into your living room spaces.

White is available in a range of shades and styles, so don't assume that it is an easy choice. Use this commentary to help you punctuate elegance into the wainscot panels of your living room when working with painters.
